A Smart Companion

Our smart phone are so close to us, it holds a lot of info about us and the things we do. Smartphone are the most important devices you can use to help with your life. In the hustle and bustle of daily life, a smartphone is a device that can help make it easier to go through the hard life. The strength of smartphone is derived from it applications. In today’s world and technology, there are virtually applications for everything, developers are constantly making apps to solve a peculiar issue in life. Nowadays smartphones are simply indispensable. Their connectivity is something we can do without, I am not just talking about messaging or making calls. Today social media connectivity is on the go with smart phone, we can even do video calls with Viber and Whats-app to anywhere on the globe. Smartphone is incredibly efficient, it can easily multi tasked. In fact, there are some occasions in which they may even be faster than using computers. The size of a smartphone makes it almost like a miniature computer. A Smartphone is also a bundle of entertainment, You can get hold of the latest music, movies and TV shows on your smartphone with ease.

The Issue

Like they say ” nothing is completely good in this world”. The reality is the great features that come with a smartphone also render it vulnerable to attacks and prone to security breach.

Your smartphone is an always-on and always-connected digital extension of your life. It collects a treasure trove of information about a user, no matter operating system. But, typically that information may be easily accessible to the hacker, even if you are very alert concerning your previous problems, you  may still get hacked. In addition, your device might get infected with malware. Even, some malware’s are so powerful that may get information from smartphone cameras, microphones and etc. sadly, this is often a reality.

You might use anti thread software that gives encryption technique, however they even don’t offer 100 safety.

Having the concern about this issue, the company called PRIVAT has developed a new security smartphone called PRIVATE. it is a complete safe hardware that you simply can have.

The PRIVAT Smartphone Solution

PRIVAT SMARTPHONES

PRIVAT Smartphone is set to launch on June 12th this year(2018) on Indiegogo , the crowd funding platform.

This new security PRIVAT Smartphone is composed of two motherboards with its own operating system Android OS, v7.0 – Nougat. One motherboard will be for the smartphone hardware itself and another one for its independent camera. Additionally, each circuit board has its own operating system with an internal memory and an expandable SD slot. In short, it is a physically independent piece of hardware separated from the smartphone motherboard.

It consists of a switch through which you can physically connect or disconnect GPS, camera, and microphone. Through this robust system, anyone can keep high control on his/her private data. Personally, I think  that  will be  their selling point.

The plus point to the phone is the integration of Fast battery charging (Dash Charge) that can charge the device to 60% in 30 min.

More juicy things about this phone are, it consists of two switches. The first switch allows to change modes in 3 positions:

  • The first position is a normal mode: In this mode, the smartphone works as other ordinary phones.
  • The second position shut down any microphone and camera of the smartphone.
  • The third position triggers an independent camera in the smartphone to capture and save photos away from Android.

Its second switch allows you to disconnect the GPS without the option to activate it back from Android so you are free of precise geolocation tracking.

In other words, it looks like a promising Smartphone of the 21st century where security is an essential factor for the purchase of a personal device. It will surely get a lot of backers on INDIEGOGO when it launched in June.
