Laptop With The World’s Longest Battery Life, HP Spectre x360

HP Spectre x360 be coming in two screen sizes, the first being 13 inches and the second being 15 inches. Both laptops we come in the ever trendy convertible form or what is call 2 in 1.

The 2 in 1’s are Laptops that you can either bends back or detaches to switch into tablet mode. You can use it as a laptop or as a tablet.

HP claims the 13-inch Spectre x360 will definitely have the world’s longest battery life.  The same could of the the 15-inch model which is also referred to as the world’s most powerful Spectre.

Price and Availability of HP Spectre x360

HP announced that  the 13-inch Spectre x360 will be available starting in second week of this month (November), and will go sold at $1,149. The t 15-inch model will also be  this month (November), and will be sold at $1,389.

The new 13 and 15-inch x360s carry on that tradition of loveliness and sleekness that HP is famous for. HP’s Spectres continue to be some of the prettiest laptops in the market. It comes with ash and copper aluminum chassis.

HP literally cut some corners with this one, and it is aesthetically pleasing. The cut out edge, gives the Laptop a nice geometric shape. HP also plans to roll out the Spectre in a new color  termed Poseidon Blue.

Both the 13- inches and 15 inches Spectre are thick and heavy but very handy. The 13- inches is 2.9 pounds, 12.2 x 8.6 x 0.6-inches while 15- is 4.8 pounds, 14.2 x 9.8 x 0.8 inches.

13-inch x360 and the 15-inch are both convertible so the screens are torch enabled. they both come with corning glass.

The 13-inch and 15-inch have different screen configurations. The 13-inch x360 is coming with  full HD (1920 x 1080), while the will come with 4K(3840 x 2160).

HP is targeting mobile and creative professionals and have made a PC that suits.

The 15-inch x360 as its most powerful Spectre ever made and when you see the Specs you will believe them. 15 inch x360 is well equipped with an 8th Gen 1.8-GHz Intel Core i5-8565U processor with 16GB of RAM, a 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. There is an optional Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Max-Q GPU.

The 13-inch laptop has similar specs as the 15-inch big brother, but lacks the power the 15-inch option with a dedicated GPU. It has an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 GPU ,you can still can do data processing, light photo and video editing.

Battery Life and Privacy


The 13-inch HP Spectre x360 biggest selling point is the battery. HP claim that the Spectre x360 13 has the world’s longest battery life in a quad-core convertible. According to HP, the 13-inch Spectre x360 can last 22.5 hours on the Mobile-mark testing. That is massive, and we will like to have this PC so as to test it.

According to HP battery estimates on the system’s Best Buy datasheet, including 12 hours and 45 during mixed usage, 12 hours for video playback and 9 hours of wireless streaming.

The 15-inch is estimated to last 17.5 hours on MobileMark, 16:15 for mixed usage, 14:30 of video playback and 9:30 of video streaming.

HP is done their bit to contribute to you privacy when you are using HP Spectre x360 13-inch and 15-inch.

First there is a Privacy Camera kill switch feature,the  switch that will allow the users to electronically disable the camera when it is not in use.

There is also HP Sure View, this feature will protect you all from all prying eyes when you are using you PC. The HP Sure View is a privacy screen which severely limits the viewing angles.
