I think this is the most interesting search engine in terms of the approach they have adopted to online searching. Ecosia is like any other search engine, with one major difference: They use the profits generated from the search engine to safe the planet by planting trees. So if you are affected by climate change or you are interested in saving the earth this is the Search Engine for you.

Ecosia is an eco-friendly search engine unlike Google search which actually contribute to emission of CO2. One of the ways Ecosia is helping the environment is that Ecosia’s severs run on 100% renewable energy we can’t say the same of Google severs.

Importantly, if you make 45 searches on Ecosia a new tree will be planted somewhere on earth. The more you search the more trees are planted.
